The Auxiliary at Riverview Healthcare Campus is an area-wide organization functioning as a separate, independent entity to Riverview Healthcare Campus. The Auxiliary is devoted to providing assistance to the wellbeing of the residents and staff, along with the financial assistance for activities, equipment and other enhancements benefiting the campus.
Auxiliary meetings are held the first Monday every other months (beginning in February) at 9:30am in the Multi-purpose room, except for June when the organization meets at 7pm for the Annual Meeting.
The Auxiliary at Riverview is responsible for coordinating the resident monthly birthday parties, the staffing and purchasing for the Riverview Gift Shop, coordinating the Valentine Tea, and assisting with baked good and resident transportation at the Mother’s and Father’s Day Celebrations.
The Auxiliary is always seeking new members to assist in any or all of its activities. Dues are $10 annually or $50 for a lifetime membership. Membership forms are available at the Riverview Information Desk or you can download the form and drop it off.
The Riverview Gift Shop is located just off the main lobby and is open as a service to residents, employees and visitors. The gift shop provides a selection of grifts, cards, snacks and seasonal items. Volunteers are needed to staff the shop for 2 hour shifts in both the morning and afternoon.
